Rhea Rose

Rhea's short stories have appeared in Tesseracts, Tesseracts 2 (Porcepic Books 1985 and 1987), On Spec (Copper Pig Press 1989), and Christmas Forever, (Tor 1993). One of her short stories was nominated for the Canadian Science Fiction and Fantasy Award (now called the Aurora Award). Two stories have appeared on the preliminary Nebula ballot. Rhea's poetry has been published in Celebrating T.S. Eliot (Wyndham Hall Press, 1988), The Mythic Circle (1990) and the The Olympic View (1991).

As well, Rhea has contributed articles to The Today Magazine, Northwest Art Magazine, B.C. Woman to Woman Magazine, Island Brief, and The Peak of the Week. In the past couple of years -- to help save a hawk, coyote and bird habitat -- she and her husband have co-written articles about the fallow fields and riparian shores of Colony Farm in Port Coquitlam, B.C. In 1994, Rhea celebrated the birth of her son, Morgan.
