Hello, welcome to the Inner Peace, Joy, Freedom web site, your haven on the Internet.

The purpose of this site is to promote inner and world peace through increased understanding of one another and of life’s processes. It will explore aspects of holistic health and healing and offer services in the areas of transformational studies and Reiki training, networking, nutrition, exercise, health tips. The links I choose are those I believe to be dedicated to the same goal, to add enjoyment and purpose to living.

Technical "Stuff"

Inner Peace, Joy, Freedom, your haven on the Internet, is a work in progress. At this time it is best viewed at 800x600 resolution. If this means nothing to you then do not be concerned. Nearly all of the content is original; anything that is not is properly credited or identified as of unknown origin. The site pages are produced using Microsoft Front Page. Naturally I cannot be responsible for the content of externally linked sites although these are carefully vetted from time-to-time. If you find links that you feel are irrelevant or that are no longer functional please drop me a note.  I also welcome suggestions for additions and improvements to the site.

The content of this site is offered gratis. However, donations to help keep it going would never be turned away. A request by email will get you a postal address to send a cheque. There is, of course, no obligation.

Some behind-the-scenes thinking...

In the past few years many have noticed a lot of interesting, jaw-dropping quickenings. Daily serendipitous events necessitate ground swellings of amazement, delight and gratitude. Usually little things one could easily not even notice, sometimes more loudly dramatic.

Who is Frances? Indeed. Who is anyone? The question was asked, "Am I my brother’s (sister’s) keeper? The answer was given: "No; I AM my brother/sister. We are all one.

So I am you. The devil you say.

That’s all right, I don’t believe in the devil. If you want to know why, you might check out other areas of this site, and also go to the links and books and music which will be altered and expanded as time goes on. As soon as possible, I will set up a system whereby we can reach one another for coaching.

At another reality, I am a very ordinary (not everyone agrees) woman, once a social worker before marrying. For 25 years I happily (well, usually happily) filled that career and you’d best start realizing being a parent is the most challenging, most important, and most underrated career on the planet. I raised two children and a husband in a pretty little suburb of Vancouver BC, in Canada. All three grew and they all left home, leaving me to find a new identity in which to continue to live and love and search for les raisons d’etre. So far there are no grandchildren on the horizon to try my perfect insanity… so I coach and do energy balancing and write poetry and stories and travel, and eat and sleep and things like that, attending to people plants and animals and rocks and soil. Lately I am making a sincere effort to go to the gym to work out, and study Qi Gong and harass the multitudes. Ah yes, and I sometimes sit in traffic gridlock. Don’t even THINK of moving to Vancouver. There are too many people here with too little space to squeeze us in. When in 1962 I moved to the west coast from Alberta and serendipity found me work as a child protection worker, the Sylvia Hotel was the tallest building in the West End. It still soars a colossal eight stories, an elegant old-worldly structure covered with charming ivy vines that turn red in the fall. The difference now is that without the ivy, it would be lost in the forest of skyscraping steel, glass and concrete.

I play a lot, showing people who are interested, how to open their hearts and their minds to greater things than they had believed possible. The seminars and one-on-ones, and the energy balancing work and the Reiki attunements do wonders for some, sending them on to further explore the nature of their reality. With a master's degree from the Alohem Center for Transformation, I also, in 1993, became a Reiki master. I do a tiny bit of dating: there are lovely men of integrity in the world. Well, you have ALWAYS known that. Alas: most are married or gun shy or gay. As years go by I am more settled into being single and at the moment can’t imagine giving up the freedoms to come and go without accountability. There isn’t time to cook for me much less for a partner!! Yet I confess I do miss the lovingness that can go with a committed relationship. After all, isn’t love the glue that holds everything together?

Ah well, there are so many varieties of love…and I know I am truly blessed, bestowed with heaps of most of them. Laughter and love reach the hearts of us all…yes?

What I want to do in the following weeks and months and years is to offer to you, via this site, a smattering of the gifts which have come my way over the past 50-plus years. A great deal of the blame for this goes to Maren, who about nine years ago sputtered in exasperation "Frances, you have more information than anyone I have ever met." Sorry, Maren, and thanks for both that and for your love.

Oh. by the way. I want you to become the best you can be And that is beyond your wildest dreams. But to do that you need to meditate. You need to eat nourishing food and drink plenty of pure water. You need to rest. And follow your bliss. And laugh. And you need to love and be loved. And, for a short time until you get the hang of it, to read opinions, research and information such as you will find on this site. Don’t stop here!!

God bless,

Frances.
